Hassan II Mosque
It is the biggest mosque in the world after the one of the mecque, inaugurated august the 30, 1993.the achievement of this project is largely financed by national subscription Its building was launched in 1980 to be finished in 1989.the mosque was inaugurated in 1993. First of all First of all some impressive figures:The height of the minaret is 200 m²(comparing with the famous koutoubia of Marackech which is only 77m).The mosque occupy 20 000 m²;150 000 person can be received.25 000 faithful people can come to pry in a room of 60 metres of height and 200 metres oflength.5 000 women can pray in a reserved room.The roof of this room weighs 1100 tons and it is opened on the sky in a record time.It contains a laser ray which indicates the Mecque from a range of 30 km.10 000 craftsmen contributed in its construction.It has cost more than 400 millions euros. More than 300 persons works the whole year here.It is the largest mosque in the maghreb and surely the most beautiful.

The transport

Trams run frequently, with at least one train every ten minutes during daylight and early evening hours.
By bus: many bus companies run through the city.Going by bus is the cheapest way to get around (4 Dh). It could be worth taking the chance given the cost-saving and experience of what many locals experience.
By taxi: all taxis; red in color, drivers know how to get to every single place in every single guide book.
Sea coast
